These deadly scenarios can include active shooters, bomb threats, armed robberies, suspicious packages, and other serious and dangerous situations. These acts, most especially active shootings, occur in stadiums, schools, churches, malls, offices, concert halls, and on campuses and are happening anywhere, any time and to anyone. Risk And Vulnerability Assessment
A comprehensive evaluation of your structural facility, surrounding property, and security plans and procedures. The assessment includes training practices, culture, and the use of technology to protect your assets. Gittings will suggest best practice policies to further mitigate loss.

Threat Assessment Team Development And Training
Establishing a team of key personnel who will be responsible for assessing the appropriate responses to perceived or potential threats. Your team will be trained to use the Virginia Model to help them determine the legitimacy of threats and the steps to address them.

Active Shooter Or Assailant Threat Training
In person or virtual presentation that provides your staff with the information they need (stats, trends, case histories, situational awareness) to prepare them for an active shooter situation. Your staff will learn the basics of the federally suggested actions to “Run, Hide, Fight”.

Emergency Operations Plans Development
Developing integrated, coordinated, and synchronized plans that focus on communication, resources and assets, safety and security, and staff responsibilities in the event of an emergency.

Emergency Operations Team Development And Training
Establishing a team of key personnel who will utilize existing Emergency Operations Plans and the Incident Command System to respond to and manage your emergency situations. Training will be achieved through tabletop drills.

The Gittings Active Shooter Training video, which you can use as a refresher or to train subsequent new employees
The T.E.A.M. Management Manual that includes critical, site specific information for critical emergency operations and response, rally points, reunification center and a training syllabus. It also includes official proof of certification, signed by the President of Gittings Protective Security and the Director of Threat Preparedness.
